The diameter of the wheels on the drivetrain that is driven by the gearbox.
The desired top speed of the drivetrain in high gear.
The desired top speed of the drivetrain in low gear.
The free speed of the motors driving the gearbox. Get this number from the motor datasheet.
This tool does not support gearboxes with multiple types of motors driving it.

The efficiency with which mechanical power is transmitted from the drive motors, through the gear train, and into the ground to accelerate the drivetrain.
This value equates to the percentage of free load speed that the drivetrain will be able to achieve.
For FRC drivetrains, this value is usually somewhere between 80% and 90%.

The gear configuration of the gearbox:
1.5-Stage - The drive motors are meshed directly with the high gear cluster gear. The high gear cluster gear is also meshed with the high gear shifter gear. This means that the first stage of the gearbox is essentially skipped in high gear. In low gear, the high gear shifter gear is free-wheeling and the high gear cluster gear drives the cluster shaft. The low gear cluster gear is turned by the cluster shaft and drives the low gear shifter gear.
2-Stage - The drive motors drive a cluster gear which drives the cluster shaft. The high gear and low gear cluster gears are turned by the cluster shaft and drive the high gear and low gear shifter gears, respectively. There are two stages of reduction in both high gear and low gear.
3-Stage - The gearbox is configured like a 2-stage gearbox, except an additional (3rd stage) gear reduction is located after the shifting stage of the gearbox. This gear reduction can either be accomplished by additional shafts and gears in the gearbox or by creating a belt/chain reduction between the gearbox and the wheels.
